In anticipation of winter weather during the next several days, we want to share an update on city operations for Monday, Jan. 26, under the city’s Inclement Weather Policy.
For Monday, the city will operate under “Reduced Operations.” Essential city services will continue to be provided as normal, though City Hall will not be open for walk-in business. The City Manager and a limited number of designated staff will be on site to support essential operations.
Under Reduced Operations, City Hall employees should follow direction from their department director to either report on site if designated, work remotely if approved, or use accrued leave in the order outlined by policy if unable to do either. Other city facilities should coordinate their operating status through department leadership.
The primary focus for Monday will be weather response and cleanup efforts. City services not related to these efforts should be postponed until Tuesday or conducted remotely where feasible.
If weather predictions change before Monday, operations may be adjusted accordingly. At this time, forecasts indicate snow or ice and extremely cold temperatures for several days. Please stay warm and safe, and contact your supervisor or Human Resources if you have questions.
